ShockWatch, a division of Media Recovery, Inc. (MRI) certifies that to our knowledge the Shockwatch Equipment Monitor product line outlined in the table below, are compliant with the European Union Directive 2002/95/EC for the Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS). With the exception of lead (PB), as outlined in the official Journal of the European Union, Directive 2002/96/EC Annex IA.

This status is based on ShockWatch's understanding of RoHS, ShockWatch's knowledge of the materials that go into its products and Supplier Compliance of their products as of the date of disclosure of material content information. No Cadmium (Cd), Mercury (Hg), Hexavalent Chromiun (Cr+6), PBB or PBDE is intentionally added to these devices by ShockWatch. Any trace impurities of these substances contained within the parts are below the RoHS specified threshold levels as outlined in: Maximum concentration values (MCV's) per RoHS amendment Commission Decision 2005/618/EC dated August 18th 2005. (CR+6, Hg, Pb, PBB's, PBDE's, <1000ppm - Cd <100ppm) Maximum limit does not apply to applications covered by RoHS exemptions.

ShockWatch products are used to monitor the handling of goods throughout the production and delivery process, and the operation, access, and usage of equipment with the goal of reducing costs by preventing damage.. As a manufacturer and seller of electronic equipment, ShockWatch recognizes the importance of the European Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS) Directive and is working diligently in its efforts to meet and maintain the orders of this directive.
ShockWatch is executing internal efforts to comply with RoHS and is executing external efforts by maintaining communications with, and working with, its suppliers and customers to comply with RoHS.
ShockWatch endeavors to protect human health and safety and the environment by controlling the use of certain hazardous substances in new equipmentShockWatch Equipment Monitors is committed to compliance with the European directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment, Directive 2002/95/EC, the RoHS directive. Compliance planning by ShockWatch is based on conformance to the RoHS Directive issued by the European Union (EU), and not on any specific Member State legislation or legislation from any other countries. ShockWatch is monitoring the environmental regulations from the countries in which ShockWatch does business and will respond accordingly to maintain compliance.
As of July 1, 2006, products supplied to the EU by ShockWatch comply with the RoHS directive. ShockWatch Equipment Monitors certifies that equipment shipped to the EU conforms to the Directive with exceptions employing the Category 9 exemption provided in the Annex of the 2002/95/EC directive.
